Cancellation Policy

Washington DC is arguably the most hard working - work obsessed - or - overworked city in the country depending on how you want to look at it. So yes, we’ve heard the line before ‘something came up! ’ Unfortunately, our very small business can’t weather casual cancels such as these; they’re actually really hard on us given our patient oriented model of care and lengthy appointment times. When you book an appointment, you are holding up our one on one time that then may go unused when you cancel.  Please make the commitment to follow through when you schedule with us!

For follow up appointments, cancellations within two business days or less are subject to the full fee of the

appointment regardless of insurance coverage.

For initial intakes, cancellations within one week are subject to a $75 late cancel penalty fee.

And cancelling within three days or less of an initial intake will incur the full cost of the visit.

No shows or showing up more than 20 minutes late are also charged the full fee of the appointment since we cannot serve you or bill insurance. If you have a conflict come up, we are always happy to do our best rearranging within the same day or within a couple days without penalty. But this is not always possible and pushing back more than a couple days means lost opportunity for us. If there is a legitimate and rare emergency that arises, please call us so that we can accommodate as best as we’re able.

In terms of transportation and parking, we are located downtown DC and there are often unexpected surprises and delays by nature of the city, so please allow ample time to arrive and feel spacious. Farragut North (red) and Farragut West (blue and orange) metros are the closest stops to our office in Washington DC. Parking gets especially tight during rush hour when many areas of the street parking are reduced for increased traffic flow.

Of course everyone runs a little late or has to rearrange once in awhile, that’s life!

Ultimately, our goal is to progress your health goals which can’t happen if we don’t see you.

Thanks so much for your respect and understanding to our very small business!
